Description
A two-piece serving set designed in the Danish Modern style, comprising a ladle and a spreader knife. The set features solid sterling silver components mounted to tapered dark hardwood handles, likely rosewood or teak, with circular silver ferrules. The ladle is designed with a deep, hand-hammered circular bowl. The spreader has a broad, flat blade with a rounded tip. Both pieces are marked on the silver sections with the purity stamp 925, indicating sterling silver. An additional maker’s mark is present on the ladle neck but is not clearly legible.

Condition report:
The silver components exhibit surface oxidation and tarnishing consistent with age. The spreader blade shows minor surface pitting and light scratching from use. The hardwood handles are in good structural condition with minimal surface wear. The items are housed in a non-original dark blue cardboard presentation box which shows significant edge wear and surface scuffing.
