Description
A rectangular silver-plated photo frame by the English Pewter Company, featuring a design inspired by the Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The frame body is finished with a high-polish mirror surface and is decorated with an applied cast pewter applique depicting a stylized Mackintosh rose on a long, slender stem. The aperture contains the original printed paper insert featuring a Glasgow Style border and stylized typeface reading Charles Rennie Mackintosh Pewter, The Mark of the Mackintosh Style. The construction consists of a silver-plated metal frame with the pewter decorative element fixed to the left-hand side.

Condition report:
The polished silver-plated surface exhibits multiple fine hairline scratches and minor scuffs throughout, consistent with previous handling and cleaning. The cast pewter rose applique shows minor surface pitting and light oxidation. The paper insert has a prominent yellow foxing spot or stain in the lower left corner. The back of the frame is not visible to assess the condition of the stand or mounting hardware.
