Description
A sterling silver celestial-themed signet-style ring with a circular openwork head. The central motif features a crescent moon with a man-in-the-moon profile face gazing towards a single five-pointed star. The tapered shank is detailed with horizontal slit cutouts at each shoulder. The interior of the band is stamped with the hallmark 925, indicating sterling silver composition.
Head diameter: approximately 18mm.
Condition report:
The ring exhibits general surface scratching and light scuffs consistent with previous wear. Significant tarnishing and patina are present throughout, particularly within the recessed areas of the openwork design. The casting detail on the moon\'s face shows slight softening.
