Description
A vintage single-strand graduated simulated pearl necklace with 9ct Gold Clasp by Ciro Pearls Ltd. The strand features cream-coloured pearls of varying sizes, with the largest at the centre, each individually knotted for security. The necklace is fitted with a filigree decorative box clasp. The piece is presented in its original retail box, which bears the Ciro crown logo and the text London and New York printed in black script on the interior cream satin lid. The set includes an original paper insert titled Branches of Ciro Pearls Ltd. which lists retail locations throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Belfast, Dublin, and Cardiff.

Condition report:
The pearls are in good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and occasional use. The yellow-metal clasp is functional but displays slight surface tarnish. The original presentation box shows significant wear, including loss to the gold-toned exterior covering at the edges and hinge. The interior cream satin and velvet lining exhibits noticeable yellowing and staining. The paper insert is well-preserved and fully legible.
