Description
A vintage silver-plated milk pitcher manufactured by the Gladwin Silver Company of Sheffield for the Cunard Line, featuring a Gio Ponti modernist design. The item is characterised by a heavy cylindrical body, a cast D-shaped handle, and a wide integrated pouring spout, designed for the rigours of maritime service. The base bears multiple stamped marks including the manufacturer mark GSC within a rectangular border, Silver Plate, ENGLAND, C2/52, CUNARD, and a capacity of 6 1/4 OZS.

Condition report:
The pitcher is in used, unpolished condition with heavy tarnish and dark oxidation across all surfaces.
