Description
An antique sterling silver watch chain featuring a uniform curb link design. The chain is fitted with a swivel dog clip clasp at one end and a jump ring at the other. Suspended from the chain is a decorative shield-shaped fob featuring a central unengraved cartouche surrounded by a border of foliate and scrollwork engraving. The reverse of the fob is struck with a full set of British hallmarks including the maker mark WHH for William Hair Haseler, the lion passant indicating sterling silver purity, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the date letter u for 1919.

Condition report:
The item is in good antique condition. There is visible tarnish and light surface scratches throughout consistent with its age. The swivel dog clip is functional. The central shield on the fob remains unengraved and ready for personalisation.
