Description
An earthenware ovoid vase from the Wedgwood Interiors collection featuring a two-tone decorative scheme in a pale blue and white colourway. The upper portion is finished in a smooth, glossy pale blue glaze, while the lower half is decorated with six horizontal bands, each containing moulded vertical white reeded lines against a light blue ground. The piece is formed in a classic ovoid shape with a wide aperture and a tapering base. The base is printed in dark grey with the characters W WEDGWOOD INTERIORS EARTHENWARE MADE IN ENGLAND © 1999 and the number 33.
Condition report:
The vase is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration (photo 1). The glaze finish remains glossy and bright throughout. The printed marks on the base are clear and well-preserved (photo 2).
