Description
A Wood and Glass Stanley London nautical desk compass paperweight comprising a circular mahogany-finished wooden base housing a floating magnetic compass dial beneath a high-domed glass magnifying lens. The dial features a multi-pointed compass rose with cardinal points marked N, S, E, and W, and intercardinal points marked in lowercase as ne, se, sw, and nw. The perimeter is detailed with degree scales graduated from 10 to 80. The dial bears a printed script inscription reading Stanley London.

Condition report:
The wooden base shows minor surface wear (photo 1). The glass magnifying dome has good optical clarity with minor surface scratches and internal dust (photo 2). The magnetic dial rotates freely on its pivot.
