Description
A comprehensive philatelic collection comprising an assortment of vintage albums, Royal Mail presentation packs, first day covers and loose stamps. The lot features a 2013 Wimbledon Men’s Singles Champion commemorative cover for Andy Murray, including a printed certificate of authenticity stating a limited edition of 500. Vintage albums include a Stanley Gibbons Gay Venture Stamp Album, an Orbit Album Postage Stamps of the World, The Hunter Stamp Album, an All Nations Stamp Album and an Improved Postage Stamp Album. Royal Mail material includes presentation packs for Christmas 1986, Flowers and Isaac Newton, alongside first day covers for the Fire Service 1974, Christmas 1974, Literature and the Nobel Prize 100th Anniversary. The assembly contains various blocks, strips and part sheets housed in clear sleeves and albums, as well as bulk quantities of loose stamps on and off paper. The Stanley Gibbons Gay Venture album is printed with the publisher name to the front cover and the 2013 Wimbledon cover features a printed certificate of authenticity with a signature.

Condition report:
The modern presentation packs and first day covers are well-preserved within protective clear sleeves (photo 1). The vintage albums exhibit significant external wear, corner bumping and foxing to the internal pages (photo 2). The Improved Postage Stamp Album shows heavy distress to the spine and covers (photo 1). Loose stamps are stored in various plastic bags and exhibit mixed condition across the assortment.
