Description
A Silver religious pendant medal of circular form. The central relief depicts the iconographic figure of Saint Christopher wading through water with a staff, carrying the Christ Child on his shoulder. The figure is set against a textured sunburst background. The medal features a raised diamond-cut border with repeating diagonal ridges. The pendant is suspended from a circular jump ring and a larger oval bail. Small indentations are present on the bail and jump ring but are not legible.
Condition report:
The pendant is in overall good condition with surface wear and light scratches consistent with use across the face and reverse (photo 1). There is a slight patina to the metal surfaces (photo 1).
