Description

A Silver Plated teapot of modernist form, featuring a globular body supported by four tapered, peg-like feet. The vessel includes a straight, angled spout and a hinged, domed lid surmounted by a spherical finial. The handle is constructed from a vertical, black cylindrical grip held by two horizontal silver arms. The polished surface exhibits a high reflective finish throughout. A small rectangular mark is visible on the lid, though the characters are not readable as a specific name or hallmark. The design follows the geometric principles and industrial aesthetic characteristic of 19th-century modernist metalwork.

Height: 16 cm
Length: 22 cm.

Condition report:

The polished surface shows minor surface scratches and light scuffing consistent with age and use (photo 1). The spout tip shows minor rounding to the edge (photo 1). There are small areas of oxidation or dark spotting where the tapered feet join the main globular body (photo 3). The black handle grip is intact, with slight wear to the finish at the top and bottom edges (photo 2).
