Description
A Silver sculpture depicting a National Hunt racing scene, featuring a jockey in full racing silks clearing a brush fence hurdle on a galloping horse. The work is rendered in a realistic, dynamic style with a textured finish to the horse’s coat, the rider’s clothing, and the naturalistic base. The side of the brush fence is incised with the signature R Donaldson. The edge of the base is stamped with the maker mark CS, the 925 standard mark, the scales convention mark, a date letter a, and the word FILLED. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular base with a green felt underside.

Condition report:
The sculpture shows minor surface tarnishing consistent with age throughout. The green felt base shows slight wear and light residue marks (photo 5). There are no visible cracks, chips, or repairs.
