Description
A pair of motoring grille badges comprising a Volvo Owners Club badge and an Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club badge. The Volvo Owners Club badge features a circular blue enamel ground with a central chrome iron mark logo and a black horizontal bar with silver lettering. The words OWNERS CLUB are inscribed in the lower blue border. The Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club badge is a multi-colour enamel design within a green border, featuring a heraldic shield depicting a sailing vessel, a stone tower, five birds, and a white high-heeled shoe beneath a red rose. The chrome mounting tab for the sailing club badge is stamped with a crown symbol above the letter R. Both badges are constructed from chrome plated metal with vitreous enamel inserts and feature two pre-drilled mounting holes in the base tabs.

Condition report:
Both badges exhibit light surface scratches and minor pitting to the chrome plating consistent with road use (photo 1). The blue enamel on the Volvo badge shows light surface wear but remains free of significant chips. The Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club badge appears to have intact enamel with no visible cracks or spalling. Some minor oxidation is visible on the rear mounting tabs.
