The mascot is fitted with two red glass eye lenses and a single amber lens on the left arm, intended for illumination. Black and yellow electrical wiring emerges from the back of the figure. The underside of the right foot is moulded with two lines of text reading MICHELIN and MADE IN FRANCE. Accompanying the mascot is a rectangular lithographed tin advertising sign for Shell Motor Oil. The sign features the yellow and red pecten logo on a cream background, with the text ASK FOR SHELL MOTOR OIL. The sign is pre-drilled with four mounting holes at the corners.

Condition report:
The Michelin mascot shows a significant accumulation of surface grime and dark scuff marks across the white plastic body (photo 2). Fine surface cracking and abrasions are visible on the base of the feet (photo 3). The electrical wiring is frayed with exposed copper filaments and lacks a terminal plug (photo 4). The Shell tin sign exhibits visible rusting and paint loss around the four corner mounting holes and edges (photo 5). The cream background shows light scratching, surface pitting, and general age-related yellowing.
