Description
A vintage Duracell Drumming Bunny battery-operated mechanical toy featuring a pink plush exterior over a mechanical frame. The rabbit is depicted wearing a white ribbon bow and carries a yellow and black drum emblazoned with a printed DURACELL logo in black block letters. The rabbit has green eyes, a red nose, and holds two red plastic drumsticks. A small red push-button switch is located on the back above the tail. The toy is accompanied by its original orange cardboard packaging, featuring a printed blackletter logo for the brand and the text DRUMMING BUNNY. Technical specifications on the box side state it operates on 2 D size (MN1300) 1.5v batteries and notes the item was imported into the EC by Duracell Europe S.A., B-2000 Antwerp, Belgium, alongside a printed CE mark. Also included is a coordinating double-sided plastic shop display sign with two clear suction cups. One side features a photographic image of the bunny holding a DURACELL PLUS battery with the text QUALITY LONG LIFE and open; the reverse shows the same image with the text closed.

Condition report:
The plush toy shows minor matting to the fabric consistent with age. There is minor surface wear and light scuffing to the plastic drum and drumsticks (photo 1). The original cardboard box displays significant structural wear, including heavy creasing, blunting to the corners, and a prominent vertical crease to the front face (photo 2). The shop display sign shows minor surface scuffing and the suction cups have yellowed slightly (photo 1). Mechanical functionality has not been tested.
