Lot 143:
Description
A cast resin sculpture finished in chocolate brown to resemble bronze, depicting two Muay Thai or kickboxing figures in combat. The dynamic composition features one fighter delivering a mid-level kick while the opponent maintains a defensive guard and prepares a punch. The figures are modelled with detailed musculature and are mounted to an integrated, low-profile oval base of the same material. Accompanying the sculpture is a pair of modern open-palm martial arts training gloves. The gloves are constructed from black synthetic fabric with red piping and feature padded knuckles, thumb loops, and adjustable Velcro wrist straps. A fabric label is present on the wrist strap of each glove, though no specific brand name is readable. The sculpture is a uniform dark brown colour with a smooth surface texture.
Length: 25.5 cm
Height: 18 cm.
Condition report:
The sculpture is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the resin figures or base. The training gloves appear in good condition with minor signs of handling but no significant wear, tears, or fraying to the synthetic material or stitching.
