Description
A collection of bronze miniature pencil sharpeners comprising a variety of domestic, industrial, and historical forms. The group includes two cash registers, each featuring the embossed name National on the base. One cash register bears a label reading Contado and a display showing 00.00, while the other is labelled CASH SALES with a matching 00.00 display. The assortment further features a treadle-style sewing machine with an integrated hand wheel and needle assembly, a coffee grinder with a rotating top handle and functional pull-out drawer, and an ornate mantel clock displaying Roman numerals and decorative gear work. A replica Liberty Bell is suspended within a textured frame, accompanied by an oil lamp featuring a white plastic shade decorated with pink floral motifs. The collection is completed by a wheeled siege engine modelled as a ballista. Each piece is constructed from die-cast metal with a dark patinated finish. The items are presented on a shaped mirror-topped tray with a gadrooned border.

Condition report:
The items exhibit visible wear to the bronze finish, most notably along the raised edges of the sewing machine and cash registers (photo 1). Minor surface grime is present on the white plastic lampshade (photo 2). Oxidation is visible on the internal sharpening blades where exposed (photo 1). The mirrored surface of the tray shows light surface scratching consistent with use (photo 3).
