Description
A Silver dress ring featuring a central oval-faceted dark blue sapphire held in a four-prong setting. The sapphire is framed by a pointed cluster halo grain-set with small round-cut diamonds, extending into split decorative shoulders set with further diamond accents. An impressed mark is present to the interior of the setting. The ring is accompanied by a vintage heart-shaped presentation box stamped in gilt to the interior satin reading H. SAMUEL MARKET PLACE beneath a heraldic shield device.
Condition report:
Light surface wear and fine scratches to the band (photo 3). The presentation box exhibits age-related wear, including discolouration and yellowing to the satin lining, and wear and compression to the velvet interior (photos 1 and 2).
