Description
A Silver Plated canteen of cutlery in the Dubarry pattern, comprising a service of table knives, dessert knives, table forks, dessert forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons, teaspoons, and serving spoons. The cutlery is fitted within a mahogany-finished wooden presentation case lined with green felt and cream satin. The interior of the lid features an applied plaque inscribed George Butler of Sheffield Ltd at Selfridges Oxford Street alongside a plaque marked Fully Guaranteed. The stainless steel knife blades are etched George Butler Silversmiths, BS 5577, Sheffield – England, Kitemark Collection.

Condition report:
The cutlery shows light surface scratching and minor tarnishing consistent with light use (photos 1, 3, and 4). The wooden canteen exhibits light surface marks and minor scuffing to the exterior lid (photo 5). The interior lining is clean and intact with no tears visible (photos 1, 3, and 4).
