Description
A Luftwaffe style uniform eagle badge crafted in silver metal. The piece depicts the characteristic flying eagle of the German Air Force with a curved head pointing downwards and swept-back wings. The eagle is shown clutching a swastika in its talons. The front of the badge features finely detailed plumage across the wings and body. The reverse of the badge is of hollow-back construction and is fitted with two integral metal split pins for attachment to a cap or tunic. The badge shows a uniform silvered finish throughout. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are present on the reverse.
