Description
A Luftwaffe breast eagle insignia manufactured for the tropical or summer tan uniform. The piece is machine-embroidered in white thread onto a tan cotton twill backing, depicting the flying eagle motif characteristic of the German Air Force, clutching a swastika in its talons. The backing material is precisely cut to follow the silhouette of the eagle. The reverse of the insignia features a white paper stabilizer used during the embroidery process, which covers the rear stitching. There are no maker marks, RZM codes, or manufacturer labels present on the item.
