Lot 65:
Description
A bronze figurative sculpture rendered in an expressionist style, depicting a nude female form in a dynamic, vertical pose. The figure is shown with arms raised above the head and legs crossed at the ankles, with the lower portion of the body merging into stylized, flowing drapery at the base. The surface displays a textured, modeled finish that retains clear impressions of the sculptor’s tool marks and finger movements. The piece is cast with an integral rectangular plinth base. The rear of the base features an incised signature and characters, which are blurred.
Height: 42 cm.
